"The Equalizer"
- Mama's Boy (1985) TV Episode .... Jeffrey
I was on an episode of the equalizer, can't remember the date. It was really crappy; an episode called "Mama's Boy".
Adam Horowitz from the Beastie Boys stars. I play a preppy drug dealer who od's in a phone booth. I hated doing it so much that I got a haircut in the middle of what was supposed to be one scene in time. If you see it, watch for the incredible shrinking hairdo from one shot to the next. -Alex Winter

The Lost Boys (1987) (as Alexander Winter) .... Marko
Yeah, of course it did. The bottom line is that when I did Lost Boys I was between my junior and senior year of NYU film school and I was totally broke. I was living in a total shithole squat type place in the East Village. I booked that role and suddenly I was living this extremely cushy existence in LA and eating everyday, which was amazing. It was a humongous amount of fun and wasn't a lot of work, which was great. I didn't have that much to do. I mostly worked at night and just walked around and pouted. - Alex Winter( Source ) |

Haunted Summer (1988) .... Dr. John William Polidori |

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) .... Bill S. Preston, Esq.
...it's really light and it's not as much my sense of humor. So I felt strongly that if I was going to go back and do a sequel it had to have a bit more of an edge and more comic depth. I'm much happier with the second one than I am with the first one.-Alex Winter ( Source ) |

Rosalie Goes Shopping (1989) .... Schatzi |

Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991) .... Bill S. Preston, Esq./Granny Preston/Evil Robot Bill
I honestly can't remember. We (Keanu and I) were so involved in both those but I didn't tell the director what to do. It was his film and the writers wrote it. I didn't kind of cross those lines. But we had a lot of story meetings where we all discussed how we wanted it to look and feel and all that kind of stuff. Our input was very important on the second one. -Alex Winter ( Source ) |

Freaked (1993) .... Ricky Coogan
... aka Hideous Mutant Freekz
Well, that script was a collaborative process, so we all had a hand in creating the vile monster that is Ricky Coogin. It didn't really change my view, because we had all done the Idiot Box together (me, Tom and Tim). It was just like an extension of that show really. -Alex Winter( Source ) |

The Borrowers (1997) .... TV Gangster
Alex has a "blink and you'll miss it" cameo as a gangster on a TV show. |
