To our dear fan(s) of Freaked,
 
 You have waited years for this day. A dozen in fact. You have worn your vhs copy to a nub. You have spent countless sleepless nights, staring at the ceiling, wracked with anxiety over what may or may not appear in the deleted scenes of the DVD when it is finally, please god, released. Recorded miles and miles of your own commentary. Built your own tasty-freaked machine. Written speculative sequels and prequels and twelve seasons of the saturday morning cartoon. And now the day has come. The moment for which your entire life has been simply an overture. The hour of your emancipation. Yes, it's time you joined the adult populace and got a life. And a job. Good luck. We're rooting for you. And so are the Feds, who are watching your every move.

PS: I think Alex said it very well. I don't think there is a thing I can add. Except this- for the past 12 years I have been living a double life. One persona is the Tom Stern you all know and love- family man, pillar of the community... the other is a drooling degenerate inexplicably obsessed with my huge collection of used chewing gum. There, I said it. Now please enjoy the film.
