Tim began his writing with CBC Radio Comedy, and moved on to TV shows including "The Jim Henson Hour", MTV's " The Idiot Box ", and Nelvana's "Sam and Max". Along with Tom Stern , Tim wrote the hilarious and popular " Monkeyed Movies " for TBS Superstation, featuring live chimpanzees acting out scenes from famous movies. Tim went on to co-create, produce and head write " The Chimp Channel ", a half-hour series on TBS. Tim's feature work includes co-writing the films " Freaked " and " An American Werewolf in Paris ". Most recently, Tim won both a Canadian Comedy award and a Writer's Guild award for the screenplay to " Jacob Two Two Meets the Hooded Fang ", adapted from Mordecai Richler's popular children's novel. Tim also composed the original songs for the film, one of which was nominated for a Genie (the Canadian equivalent of an Oscar a really small one).  Tim recently wrote the screenplay for the Canadian Comedy, " Geraldine's Fortune ."
